Tips for Academic (and Life) Success:
- Actively participate in class and answer teacher questions.
- Write down all homework assignments and due dates.
- Complete every assignment and turn it in on time.
- Take advantage of extra credit when it is offered.
- Take notes in class.
- Strive for perfect attendance.
- Give every assignment your best effort.
- View school (and life) from a positive perspective.
- Congratulate others for their successes.
- Be friendly, smile, and compliment others daily. (You'll soon be a JOY to be around.)
- Volunteer when the opportunity arises.
- Serve others willingly and pleasantly.
- Make wise use of time in class.
- Ask questions.
- Listen attentively.
- Finish assignments at home (if you don't, you'll be behind all day and your work won't reflect the quality it should).
- Come to school well nourished and well rested (these two things will aid concentration and improve your attitude).
- Be nice to your teachers (especially Mrs. Roll ). They are here to help you.
